STARDOM
NEWS
Suzu Suzuki will officially go one-on-one with Mei Seira at All Star Grand Queendom 2025 on April 27th. Stardom President Taro Okada announced the special singles match at Sunday’s show in Hamamatsu. Suzuki turned on Seira and the rest of NEO Genesis back at the April 2nd STARDOM NIGHTER in KORAKUEN show.
Ahead of the same Hamamatsu show on Sunday, Stardom revealed that Mei Seira, Suzu Suzuki, Starlight Kid, and Mayu Iwatani were all off the show due to poor health. We wish each wrestler the best.
The All Star Grand Queendom 2025 card is now complete. While Mei Seira vs. Suzu Suzuki was the final addition to the main card, there will be a preshow Stardom Rumble featuring the remainder of the roster and possible surprises. The winner of the match will earn a future title shot at a Stardom championship of their choosing. Notable wrestlers to expect in the match include Momo Watanabe, Cinderella Tournament winner Sayaka Kurara, and former World of Stardom Champion Natsuko Tora.
At NJPW’s Windy City Riot on Friday night, AZM and Mina Shirakawa wrestled to a double countout in their No. 1 Contenders’ Match for the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship. As a result, Rocky Romero revealed that both would challenge Mercedes Moné for the championship at NJPW Resurgence in Ontario, California, on May 9th. The match has since been made official.
As part of the shows in Las Vegas, Stardom announced that AEW’s Megan Bayne would return to the promotion on the Friday show to team with Maika and HANAKO to take on the trio of the returning Momo Watanabe, Konami, and Kalientita.
Hazuki defeated Lena Kross at SPARK Joshi’s Lady Luck show on Thursday to win the vacant SPARK Joshi World Championship. The last wrestler to hold the championship was Starlight Kid, who relinquished the championship last year in her quest for the Wonder of Stardom Title.

STARDOM in SAKAE 2025 ~Day 1~
Friday, April 11th 2025
Aichi Chunichi Hall, Sakae
Attendance: 336
Cosmic Angels (Aya Sakura, Yuna Mizumori & Sayaka Kurara) def. H.A.T.E. (Rina, Azusa Inaba & Fukigen Death) (8:55)
Lady C & Akira Kurogane def. Rian & Waka Tsukiyama (7:57)
Suzu Suzuki & Yuria Hime def. Starlight Kid & Miyu Amasaki (8:29)
HANAKO def. Tabata (7:38)
H.A.T.E. (Natsuko Tora, Konami & Ruaka) def. Cosmic Angels (Tam Nakano, Saori Anou & Natsupoi) (12:05)
Saya Kamitani def. Saya Iida and Maika (14:59): When the Golden Generation is put together, you pay attention. And while the Stardom version of the Golden Generation is just down to three wrestlers, you’re still all the more intrigued when they’re matched up with each other. This was an exciting three-way to toss on the show in Sakae, and it proved to be as entertaining as hoped for. It’s been a while since we got some sort of focus on the rivalry between Saya Kamitani and Maika as well. And while they played to their history a small bit, this match was ultimately filled with bits, fun, and overall strong wrestling. Maika and Iida worked together to limit Kamitani, but H.A.T.E. involved themselves just enough to allow the World of Stardom Champion a one-on-one with Iida to win the match. Kamitani hit a Spinning Star Crusher for the victory. (***½)
STARS (Mayu Iwatani, Hanan & Momo Kohgo) def. God’s Eye (Syuri, Tomoka Inaba & Ranna Yagami) (12:58): Preview work ahead of All Star Grand Queendom was in full swing in the main event, as Mayu Iwatani and Syuri had potentially their final chance to face before the big IWGP Women’s Championship bout. As you’d expect from those two, they crushed it. They took over the final stretch, and it was as if it was title match time. Iwatani at the top of her game, Syuri at the top of hers. The action was slick, exciting, and to the level that you expect out of the two best in the world. Iwatani won after taking a kick to the head from Syuri, shaking it off, and hitting a Dragon Suplex seemingly out of nowhere. This momentum is massive for Iwatani, who looks to earn V10 and keep up her record reign as champion. A superb main event by all six wrestlers involved. (***½)
STARDOM in SAKAE 2025 ~Day 2~
Saturday, April 12th 2025
Aichi Chunichi Hall, Sakae
Attendance: 530
Starlight Kid & Tabata def. Rian & Waka Tsukiyama (8:00)
Lady C def. Fukigen Death (5:05)
Hai High Mate (HANAKO & Maika) def. Akira Kurogane & Yuria Hime (12:47)
Momo Kohgo & Saya Iida def. Sayaka Kurara & Yuna Mizumori and DEVILxPRINCESS (Azusa Inaba & Rina) (12:23)
Ranna Yagami & Syuri def. Hina & Tomoka Inaba (11:42)
Eye Contact (Mayu Iwatani & Hanan) def. BMI2000 (Natsuko Tora & Ruaka) (12:42)
PsyQueen (Konami & Saya Kamitani) def. meltear (Natsupoi & Tam Nakano) (14:58): In perhaps Saya Kamitani’s most evil win yet against Tam Nakano, she stole the potential final meltear match ever with the help of Konami and the rest of H.A.T.E. The match itself was to the expectations you’d set heading in, as we’ve seen the work between Tam and Saya at this point weekly for the better part of the last six months. They have it down; it’s solid, and you’re just wondering how it will finish this time around. Well, the signature face paint of Konami was the answer as they used it to completely blind Nakano and allow “The Phenex Queen” to get the latest pinfall over her rival and upcoming challenger. (***¼)
STARDOM in HAMAMATSU 2025
Sunday, April 13th 2025
Act City Hamamatsu, Hamamatsu
Attendance: 619
Miyu Amasaki def. Yuna Mizumori and Yuria Hime (7:38)
Aya Sakura & Natsupoi def. HANAKO & Tabata (9:52)
Rina & Ruaka def. Momo Kohgo & Saya Iida (10:12)
Sayaka Kurara def. Akira Kurogane (11:36)
H.A.T.E. (Konami, Natsuko Tora & Saya Kamitani) def. EXV (Maika, Rian & Waka Tsukiyama) (13:17)
Hina & Syuri def. Ranna Yagami & Lady C (11:10)
Tam Nakano def. Hanan (14:34): With Mayu Iwatani unable to compete on this show, the pivot was to a special singles match between Tam Nakano and Hanan. While on the surface it may have just been a great match, it might play to so much more in the future. Hanan had a chance to prove herself against the World of Stardom Championship challenger and seemingly passed the test with flying colors. She not only stood up to Nakano but also brought the fight to her every step of the way. Hanan has notably taken a step back from singles aspirations over the past six months with wing*gori flying high, but she feels like an ideal choice to make the jump up to the main event scene following All Star Grand Queendom. Nakano may have won with the Violet Screwdriver, but it’s clear she saw this as a test for the young STARS member, too. They gave it everything in this match. It was a really strong main event for the house show. (***¾)
STARDOM American Dream 2025 in Sin City
Thursday, April 17th 2025
Silverton Casino, Las Vegas
Attendance: Not Reported
AZM & Ram Kaichow def. Starlight Kid & Mazzerati (12:09)
Suzu Suzuki & Jody Threat def. Unagi Sayaka & Airica (9:15)
wing*gori (Hanan & Saya Iida) def. Hazuki & Kelsey Heather (9:54)
Mina Shirakawa & HANAKO def. Momo Watanabe & Natsuko Tora (12:15): The match was won by Mina Shirakawa after Momo Watanabe accidentally smashed Natsuko Tora with her baseball bat. The potential problems continue as this follows many of these instances between Momo and Thekla in the past.
Syuri & Vipress def. Konami & Kalientita (11:58)
Maika def. Thekla (17:26): The main event of American Dream 2025 in Sin City ended up being the clear best match of the night, as Maika defeated Thekla in a match that was a long time coming. Thekla earned the opportunity to make this challenge when she defeated Mina Shirakawa at the finals of the Cinderella Tournament. She originally wanted to face Taro Okada, but instead decided to face her former Donna del Mondo stablemate in Vegas. The match worked better than several Thekla matches have in Japan, as the crowd was super invested in everything both wrestlers did. Thekla’s work as a heel can be hit or miss, but this was the audience to do it with, as they were behind Maika in full force to eventually come back and take her out. After a flurry of back-and-forth action, Maika ultimately won the match with the Michinoku Driver II to put an end to their rivalry once and for all. Once again, the match of the night. (***½) After the match, Maika hugged Thekla in an unexpected heartwarming moment, as Thekla embraced before eventually shoving her and leaving the ring.
LOOKING AHEAD…
Stardom has one more stop in Las Vegas this Friday for STARDOM American Dream 2025 in Neon City. The main event will see Megan Bayne return to Stardom to team with Maika and HANAKO to take on the trio of Momo Watanabe, Konami & Kalientita. Here’s a look at the five-match card.
In their return to Japan and just days before All Star Grand Queendom 2025, Stardom heads to Korakuen Hall on Thursday with a packed show. The main event will preview the top two matches of Queendom as Tam Nakano teams up with Starlight Kid to face former Queen’s Quest stablemates Saya Kamitani and AZM. Then, Suzu Suzuki will bring two mystery partners with her to face the trio of Mei Seira, Miyu Amasaki, and WAVE’s Kohaku. Her faction could be coming together. Take a look at the complete card here.

Marigold Spring Victory Series 2025 - Night 10
Saturday, April 12th
Shin-Kiba 1st RING, Tokyo
Attendance: 272
Ryoko Sakimura def. Riara and Nagisa Tachibana (4:43)
Chika Goto & Yuuki Minami def. Megaton & Gigaton (9:38)
MIRAI & Seri Yamaoka def. Utami Hayashishita & Kizuna Tanaka (11:45)
Superfly Championship: Victoria Yuzuki (c) def. Rea Seto (9:44): The Superfly Championship has been in good hands since Victoria Yuzuki won the gold at First Dream, and this defense was another case of just that. After a notable few months of improvement, Rea Seto had her first title match since joining Marigold, and she showed out. Each moment of her attack was about attacking the arm of the young champion, decimating her arm by throwing it into the ring post and never letting up from there. It was on Yuzuki to show her champion spirit, which is exactly what she did by the end of the bout. As Seto consistently stayed on the arm, Yuzuki had to ramp up the intensity. That resulted in a head-first Back Suplex from Yuzuki before soon being followed by the best Superkick the champion has hit in her career — very similar to that of Mayu Iwatani. Yuzuki won the match by forcing Seto to tap to the Crossface, wrenching back on Seto and her back. This was another strong defense for the champion, who continues to get better and better in each big match. (***¾)
Darkness Revolution (Bozilla, Nagisa Nozaki, Misa Matsui & CHIAKI) def. Miku Aono, Natsumi Showzuki, Erina Yamanaka & Hummingbird (13:42): The best Darkness Revolution to date, and it happened to also be the final match of Bozilla’s run in Japan. With Bozilla heading back home, Marigold allowed one of their main stars of their first year to get a proper farewell in an exciting main event. Everything really worked in this match. Yamanaka’s return to Marigold was especially welcome, as she was using her kicks to stand out — the same as she did in her match against Mai Sakurai at Korakuen Hall. This was also another good performance for Hummingbird, who had impressed in her Marvelous match this past week. Sadly for the Bird, she was the one to be defeated in this match as Bozilla set her sights on her and didn’t let up. Bozilla won her final match in Marigold with a towering Sitout Powerbomb, completing a successful one-year run in Japan and a fun final bout. (***½) If there’s anything to take away from this match outside of it just being a really good main event, it’s the year that Bozilla had. She went from an unknown to a star for years to come. Her matches with Sareee and Nanae Takahashi were among the top bouts in Marigold’s short history, and she should only continue to make her mark on the pro wrestling world. Best of luck to Bozilla, who will certainly be missed in the Marigold ring.
Nanae Takahashi Produce “All's Well That Ends with Passion‼︎”
Monday, April 14th
Shinjuku FACE, Tokyo
Attendance: 503
Utami Hayashishita def. ZONES (8:25): This is how you start a show. A full-on hoss fight between Marigold World Champion Utami Hayashishita and up-and-comer ZONES is why produce shows are often so good. It’s a matchup you wouldn’t get otherwise, and it was apparent by the end of this match that Nanae Takahashi knew what she was doing with this booking. Everything about this match was what it needed to be — running into each other, tossing each other, and throwing some nasty Lariats in there for the love of the game. While Hayashishita unsurprisingly got the win, this was one of those times when both wrestlers felt like winners. ZONES has it. Let’s hope this is just the start for her and Utami facing off in the future. (***¼)
Nanamomo (Nanae Takahashi & Momoe Nakanishi) vs. Seri Yamaoka & Victoria Yuzuki ended in a Time-Limit Draw (15:00): A match that ended up being the perfect reminder that while Momoe Nakanishi may be retired, she’s still very capable of delivering in the ring. And she put on an absolute show in this match as a result. The final Nanamomo match was perfect. Takahashi and Nakanishi pushed forward the future with their opponents being Seri Yamaoka and Victoria Yuzuki. The two upstarts brought it to the legendary tag team, with Yamaoka especially being the one to get put in the spotlight — especially against her TwinStar Championship partner for the first time. Each time Nakanishi and Takahashi brought it to them, they somehow managed to have an answer — something that’s all the more impressive considering their combined experience. The sequence of the match was when Nanae and Seri traded slaps to the point where Yamaoka would lose her tooth, pick it up, and keep on fighting as if nothing happened. She also had her moments to shine, including a stunning German Suplex to Nakanishi, in which Yuzuki got on for a near fall. In the end, this match went to a draw with Yamaoka surviving the rush sent by Takahashi — which further shows how far she’s already come in her four months as a wrestler. These two are at the forefront of the future of Joshi wrestling, and Nanamomo used their final match to display that to the world. (****)
Miku Aono & Miyuki Takase def. Yumiko Hotta & Miku Kanae (11:38): With Miku Kanae competing on this show, Takahashi made sure to book three of the most exciting young wrestlers in all of wrestling on this one show. And Kanae sure took advantage of the opportunity of sharing the ring with Miku Aono. They were the focus of the match as the two Hotta students took the final stretch against one another and really brought the match home. What Kanae brings to the table is the underdog ability you can’t teach, and it’s been visibly taking her to higher heights each match she has. Aono won the match with a Double-Arm Suplex on Kanae. (***) After the match, Hotta shared her love for Aono, pushing her to take any opportunity with Takahashi retiring.
Hiroyo Matsumoto def. Chika Goto (12:29): Chika Goto is a star, and Nanae Takahashi knows it. When GoChika’s match got placed into the semi-main event, it was clear how much confidence Takahashi had in her. And doing so in a big singles match against Hiroyo Matsumoto means all the more to Goto for her now and in the future. The most important part of this match was that with all the stars on this show, it was Goto who had arguably the most support out of anyone. When a crowd believes and invests in you like they very clearly did here with GoChika and have on Marigold shows, you have to take notice. She proceeded to put on one of the best performances of her career, battling Matsumoto and not allowing the long-time veteran to be a mountain too tall to climb. The hope spots in this match were especially great, with the crowd invested in every close call as GoChika tried to push on just a bit longer. In the end, it was still Matsumoto’s match to win, but this truly felt like a bout that will mean a lot to GoChika. She’s ready for more and is one to watch for the reminder of 2025 because of it. (***½)
Nanae Takahashi, Yuu & MIRAI def. Chihiro Hashimoto, Ryo Mizunami & Rina Yamashita (26:11): Closing the show with an All-Star main event is always a good path to success, and it’s exactly what Nanae Takahashi had in mind for her produce show. She teamed with her 7Upp partner Yuu, as well as MIRAI, to take on the superb trio of Chihiro Hashimoto, Ryo Mizunami, and Rina Yamashita. As you can imagine, with all six of these wrestlers involved, the match was an absolute treat to watch. This match had a little bit of everything — comedic bits, breathtaking action, and some all-out nastiness that is a signature for all six wrestlers involved. Watching Hashimoto and MIRAI face off for the first time in two years was especially great, as their instant chemistry that was showcased in their Stardom match remains there. Then, seeing Nanae take on everyone in different ways was all the sweeter, but it also gives the painful reminder that she will be done wrestling in a month and a half. The work with Yamashita in the closing minutes was as good as anything on the show as Takahashi took home the victory with a One Second EX. (****¼)

Ryo Mizunami (c) to become the new champion (17:42): Saori Anou finally won the OZ Academy Openweight Championship in a super competitive match with Ryo Mizunami. The match was filled with drama, as Anou showed her resiliency and need to win the gold. Watching the OZ version of Anou compared to the Stardom version is always so different — there’s a different edge to her that she could surely bring to Stardom somewhere down the line, which would push her into the World of Stardom Championship level. She ended up winning with a rollup, but Mizunami took everything including a Tantandol for a near fall. If you are looking for a match to check out from the rest of the scene this week, this is certainly the one to look at. A very strong main event to close the show. (***¾) After the match, Anou and Mayumi Ozaki shared a face-off as they played up to their eventual singles match with the championship on the line.
