STARDOM
NEWS
On Sunday June 15th, after announcing the top matches for THE CONVERSION 2025, Stardom has revealed the remaining matches to round out the full card. Due to take place on the 21st June in Yoyogi National Gymnasium #2 in Tokyo, the show will see three titles matches and the return of Ami Sourei after almost a year out with a knee injury. On top of these, NEO-GENESIS will continue their battle with former-member Suzu Suzuki and her new faction Mi Vida Loca in 8-woman action, while Momo Kohgo teams with rookies Ema Maishima and Kikyo Furusawa to take on the Cosmic Angels trio of Aya Sakura, Sayaka Kurura and Yuna Mizumori. Elsewhere, it was announced that the FWC team of Hazuki and Koguma will face the BMI2000 of Natsuko Tora and Ruaka in what could well be an informal number one contendership match for the Goddesses of Stardom championships!
Following the weekend’s shows in Maibara and Numazu, Stardom announced that the above-mentioned 4-on-4 unit match between Mi Vida Loca and NEO-GENESIS will have a sightly modified rule-set in that there will be no disqualifications, rope breaks, or count-outs and that it will be contested under ‘no touch rules’; meaning that no tags will be required.
Having defeated Lena Kross back in Las Vegas to capture the vacant World Title, Hazuki has been officially announced to be coming to Spark Joshi’s Ignite Texas show on June 29th at the Baytown Community Center, with bell-time currently advertised as 3pm CT. Not only will Hazuki – and her FWC tag team partner Koguma – be coming to Texas, but Spark have announced that she will defending the title for the first time against one of the standouts of the US indie scene; Maya World. Tickets for Spark Joshi’s Ignite Texas show on Sunday 29th June can be purchased here.
AZM was missing from the shows on June 14th in Numazu and Maibara on June 15th due to poor-health. She is still advertised for THE CONVERSION however, with the hope being that it is more a precaution than anything serious.

Marigold Burning Desire 2025 ~ Night 4
Saturday, June 14th 2025
176BOX, Osaka
Attendance: 523
Attendance Note: The announced attendance inside 176BOX in Osaka was 523, which was confirmed to be a sellout by the company. This is the highest house the company have drawn to the 176BOX, with it being a 60.92% increase on the last time Marigold ran the venue (325 on 10th May 2025 main-evented by Magenta dethroning Nanae Takahashi and Seri Yamaoka for the Twinstar Championships). 523 is also the largest non Korakuen Hall/PPV number the company have drawn since the Dream Star Grand Prix finals in Nagoya on 28th September (685)
Kizuna Tanaka def. Nagisa Tachibana and Ryoko Sakimura (5:26)
MIRAI def. Yuuka Yamazaki (11:08): The in-ring debut of Yuuka Yamazaki was an exciting one as the rookie stepped into the ring in her hometown and officially became a pro wrestler. From the jump, there’s a lot to like about Yamazaki. She has natural energy and fire to her. The rookie looked quite capable in the ring already, too. She brings a confidence that will also bring her a long way, and MIRAI was again the ideal opponent to be her first match. Yamazaki’s big move was a Twist of Fate, which got a nice near fall on MIRAI. Eventually, she’d fall victim to the Lefty Lariat from MIRAI to lose, but Yamazaki is on track to be another incredibly talented rookie for Marigold. (***¼)
CHIAKI & Misa Matsui def. Flying Penguin & Hummingbird (9:53)
Kouki Amarei & Utami Hayashishita def. Chika Goto & Yuuki Minami (11:33)
Mai Sakurai, Seri Yamaoka & Shinno def. Komomo Minami, Miku Aono & Rea Seto (15:54): Young Marigold was on full display once again in this match as Shinno, Seri Yamaoka, Komomo Minami, and Rea Seto all had their moment to shine. Add in Mai Sakurai and Miku Aono to make sure they’re leading the way, but also leaving it to the young four wrestlers to do the most work. The highlight of this match did feature one of the veterans, though, as Miku Aono stood in the ring and was challenged by Shinno. The super rookie was ready to go kick for kick with the former United National Champion, and she stuck in there for a while before the kicks of Aono became just a bit too much. It wasn’t going to stop the team from winning, however, as Yamaoka earned the win when she pinned Komomo Minami. This is the signature fun trios match you look for on these Marigold shows. (***½)
Mayu Iwatani & Victoria Yuzuki def. Megaton & Nagisa Nozaki (13:46): Due to the loss, Megaton was officially kicked out of Darkness Revolution. The group attacked her after the match, where Iwatani made sure to do her best to protect Megaton before Kouki Amarei made the save. This set up a match at the Korakuen Hall show on Tuesday.

Mayu Iwatani, Chanyota & Mai Sakurai def. Chika Goto, Miku Aono & Utami Hayashishita (14:54): After the match, Chika Goto challenged Mayu Iwatani to a singles match.
Marigold Burning Desire 2025 ~ Night 6
Tuesday, June 17th 2025
Korakuen Hall, Tokyo
Attendance: 912
Attendance Note: The announced attendance inside Korakuen Hall in Tokyo was 912. Though a 24.63% decrease on the last Marigold Korakuen Hall show (1,210 on the 4th May), it is worth pointing out that this was Mayu Iwatani’s Marigold debut. The attendance of 912 is the company’s fourth-highest attendance at the venue, and ups the Marigold average attendance at Korakuen Hall to 907.
Hummingbird & Ryoko Sakimura def. Nagisa Tachibana & Natsumi Showzuki (7:33)
Selene Flora (Kizuna Tanaka & Victoria Yuzuki) def. Komomo Minami & Rea Seto (11:05)
CHIAKI & Misa Matsui def. Kouki Amarei & Megaton (7:54)
Chika Goto & Yuuki Minami def. MIRAI & Yuuka Yamazaki (12:35)
Miku Aono def. Erina Yamanaka (10:13)
TwinStar Championship: Magenta (Maria & Riko Kawahata) (c) defeat Mai Sakurai & Chanyota (14:53): Magenta isn’t letting go of the TwinStar Championships just yet. Maria and Riko Kawahata welcomed the challenge of Mai Sakurai and Chanyota on Tuesday and were ready to go into their bag of tricks to make sure the belts stayed around their waists. Magenta has been a fascinating following in recent months with their turn, and it’s clear that Maria has especially taken to it with ease. She’s a bit nasty, a bit cocky, and ever so confident. Kawahata is following her lead and getting the job done when it comes to them winning matches. Chanyota and Sakurai had such a strong effort in this challenge, looking like they’d finally get to call themselves champions together. Unfortunately for them, Magenta had the “win by any means necessary” formula — the same one they had when they defeated Nanae Takahashi and Seri Yamaoka to win these championships. In the end, it was Kawahata who hit her crushing Moonsault to pin the United National Champion and successfully earn V1 in a very solid defense. (***½) With the loss, Sakurai wasn’t done there. She laid down the challenge to Kawahata, telling her that she will put the United National Championship on the line against her at the July 16th Korakuen Hall show next month. Kawahata accepted. It’s also worth noting that Maria questioned why no one stepped up to the TwinStar Champions after the match, wondering if anyone truly wants to bring those belts back into the Marigold fold.
Marigold (Mayu Iwatani, Seri Yamaoka & Utami Hayashishita) def. Marvelous (Senka Akatsuki, Sora Ayame & Takumi Iroha) (18:21): Marigold vs. Marvelous continues to deliver, and this was the next step in the story. Mayu Iwatani and Utami Hayashishita’s involvement on the Marigold side was going to change the tides of this rivalry, and that’s exactly what it did. But if there was any question as to who was the most dominant force of this feud, it was quickly answered with Takumi Iroha’s showing. She decimated Seri Yamaoka, she handled Mayu Iwatani (in great back-and-forth action), and clashed with Hayashishita. Everyone was on their game, ultimately, and it was another impressive showing for Senka Akatsuki, who closed the match against the Marigold World Champion. She showed the grit and passion to try and win, but it was Hayashishita who won the match with a Torture Rack Bomb as she stared down Iroha while she was held back by Iwatani and Yamaoka. A great main event worth your time, as this feud gets better and better. (****) When the match was over, Hayashishita challenged Iroha to a double championship match — Marigold World Championship and GHC Women’s Championship — for next month’s Korakuen Hall show. Iroha accepted as long as she successfully defends the GHC Women’s Title in the lead-up. Mayu Iwatani also expressed that she was going for the GHC Women’s Championship. Senka Akatsuki then took the microphone, saying she wants to prove herself by taking the final spot in the DREAM STAR GP. Rea Seto and the rest of the Marigold roster said they also want the final spot, telling Akatsuki to earn it. Nao Ishikawa made her return to propose a gauntlet match to decide the final spot, which is now set for the June 28th show.
LOOKING AHEAD…

MARVELOUS
NEWS
Takumi Iroha will soon collide with Utami Hayashishita, seemingly with all the gold on the line. Following the main event at Marigold’s Korakuen Hall show this past Tuesday, Hayashishita once again challenged Iroha, with the Marigold World Championship being the centerpiece. But the champion went above that, asking for Iroha to also put her GHC Women’s Championship on the line. Iroha agreed to that, as long as she’s able to successfully defend the title in the meantime. The two are looking to collide at the Marigold Korakuen on July 16th in what would be one of the biggest matches of the year.
LOOKING AHEAD…
