Bozilla has officially joined Stardom. The former Marigold TwinStar Champion joined the company at THE CONVERSION this past Saturday, aligning herself with Suzu Suzuki and Mi Vida Loca. Bozilla had left Marigold back in April following a one-year run with the company. She has since competed in GCW and Pro-Wrestling EVE.
Sareee wants to be in the 2025 5STAR Grand Prix. Just days after winning the IWGP Women’s Championship from Syuri, “The Sun God” has made it clear that she wants to join Stardom’s signature tournament to further dominate and call herself the ace of women’s pro wrestling. Stardom announced that they will announce the field at a press conference on July 5th. We’ll see if the IWGP Women’s Champion will enter the tournament officially or if Stardom keeps her out of the running.

Goddesses of Stardom Championship: wing*gori (Hanan & Saya Iida) (c) def. Natsu & Saory (Natsupoi & Saori Anou) (17:08): wing*gori continues their incredible run as Goddesses of Stardom Champions, this time taking on the difficult duo of Natsu & Saory. Natsupoi and Saori Anou have taken over the headlines in recent weeks as their anniversary show was one of the best all year, and they wanted to carry that momentum into their second Goddesses Title reign. wing*gori, on the other hand, remains confident in their abilities and strong in their direction, continuously taking on the toughest challenges without any hesitation. So when this match was made official, excitement followed with it, knowing what these two great teams could accomplish. The match ended up being a terrific contest of back-and-forth action, with Saori Anou pairing with Hanan while Natsupoi really paired with both Saya Iida and Hanan throughout. It felt like time and time again that there would be a crowning of new champions, but in the end, Hanan pinned Natsupoi to successfully retain in the first must-see match from this show. Another top-tier defense for a duo in wing*gori that very well may be the Tag Team of the Year in all of wrestling. (****¼)
Mi Vida Loca (Akira Kurogane, Itsuki Aoki, Rina Yamashita & Suzu Suzuki) def. NEO Genesis (AZM, Mei Seira, Miyu Amasaki & Starlight Kid) in a No DQ Match (22:44): During the match, Bozilla made her Stardom debut by attacking NEO Genesis and helping Mi Vida Loca eventually win. Bozilla hit Starlight Kid with a devastating Powerbomb, which led to Suzu Suzuki pinning the Wonder of Stardom Champion and winning the bout. When the match was over, Bozilla challenged AZM to an NJPW STRONG Women’s Title match.
IWGP Women’s Championship: Sareee def. Syuri (c) to become the new champion (32:49): If there’s an argument happening for the best wrestler in the world, Sareee and Syuri both belong in that conversation. There’s a reason that when this highly anticipated rematch was made official for THE CONVERSION, the world had it circled. Sareee and Syuri already wrestled to an incredible 30-minute time limit draw earlier this year, so what would a rematch look like — this time with the IWGP Women’s Championship on the line? Well, if you’re wondering, the answer is continued greatness. The big match style of both wrestlers molds together perfectly. And the overall need to win this championship, that carried these two to a top-of-the-line match that will rank anywhere near the Match of the Year, if not the top match. Sareee’s destiny was to long win this championship; she established as much to the world two years ago when she returned to Japan and said she’d chase the gold one day. After coming up short against Mayu Iwatani last year, you knew her overall performance was going to be one of the best she’s had because she was not going to lose again. And for the champion, it was an unbelievable showing of grit — Syuri just didn’t have enough to walk away with the gold still around her waist. The final half of this match is especially incredible, and honestly might be one of the best closing stretches you’ll see with the drama and intensity. That drama showed on Syuri’s face, as the survival instincts became necessary to just try and win the match… but that didn’t end up being the case for the now former champion. Sareee won by hitting her signature Uranage, pinning Syuri in the middle of the ring to call herself the IWGP Women’s Champion. A MOTYC in every way. “The Sun God” is back on top of the wrestling world, and everyone, especially Stardom, is on notice. (****¾)

Big time previews for upcoming title matches take over the weekend as well as Saki Kashima’s triumphant return.
Stardom heads to Kochi on Friday with a main event that will pit Natsupoi and Saya Kamitani against each other on opposite teams as we build toward their championship bout. Natsupoi will team up with Yuna Mizumori, Aya Sakura, and Sayaka Kurara, while Kamitani is joined by H.A.T.E.’s Momo Watanabe, Konami, and Rina. (FULL CARD)
On Sunday, Saki Kashima will main event the evening in her hometown return as God’s Eye will face off in a 4 vs. 3 handicap match. The teams will be decided before the match. There will also be a big preview bout as Natsupoi teams with wing*gori to face Kamitani, Natsuko Tora, and Ruaka. (FULL CARD)
When Stardom heads to Okayama on Sunday, it’ll have a massive main event with Natsupoi and Saya Kamitani once again being the main focus. It’ll be Natsupoi, Saori Anou, AZM, Miyu Amasaki, and Starlight Kid all teaming to take on H.A.T.E.’s Saya Kamitani, Momo Watanabe, Konami, Rina, and Azusa Inaba. (FULL CARD)

Mayu Iwatani revealed this week that she fractured a rib over the weekend. “The Icon” said it on her personal Instagram story, noting she had to go to the hospital after the pain became too much. Iwatani remains on the card for this Saturday in Saitama, teaming with MIRAI and Yuzuki in the main event against Darkness Revolution. We wish her the best in her recovery.
Victoria Yuzuki is ready to step into the biggest match of her young career. Following the Joshi match on the final edition of Monday Magic Prime Time, Takumi Iroha was looking for a challenger, and the future Marigold ace stepped up. Despite not being interested in her as a challenger, Iroha accepted, and the confident Yuzuki made sure to let her know that it would be a real challenge. The match will take place at WRESTLE MAGIC 2025 this Monday in Shinagawa. If Iroha wins, the double championship match with Utami Hayashishita is likely to become official soon after.
The final participants of the 2025 Dream Star Grand Prix will be decided this weekend in Saitama through two separate gauntlet matches. After Natsumi Showzuki underwent surgery, a second spot was open in the tournament to be filled. The two matches will have four participants each and will be decided on the day of the show, this Saturday. The competitors for the final two spots are Nao Ishikawa, Hummingbird, Rea Seto, Komomo Minami, Yuuka Yamazaki, Nagisa Tachibana, Yuuki Minami, and Marvelous' Senka Akatsuki.

This match was ultimately a great time from start to finish, with the main highlight being the incredible chemistry between Victoria Yuzuki and Seri Yamaoka. Their back-and-forth in this match was another sign as to why these two are destined for big, big things, whether it be against each other or apart. The trading of a Missile Dropkick, Spear, and Superkick will rope you completely in. These two are going to succeed for years to come. You also had strong work between upstarts Kizuna Tanaka and Rea Seto. And, of course, Utami Hayashishita and MIRAI did their thing as well. If you’re looking for something from this weekend in Marigold to check out, this is it. (***½)

The show will feature the Dream Star Grand Prix 2025 Qualifier Gauntlet matches. Marvelous’ Senka Akatsuki asked to be in the tournament, but was denied, with the remainder of the roster wanting in also. So, there will be two Gaunlets to determine the final spots that everyone should have eyes on as the field of 16 will be officially set. The show will also have a major main event with Mayu Iwatani teaming with Victoria Yuzuki and MIRAI to take on the Darkness Revolution trio — who have been undefeated since kicking out Megaton from the group a few weeks ago. Sayuri Namba announced her final show for TJPW this weekend… in Japan. Namba had her official farewell on Sunday, calling the Spring Tour Final show before passing over the job to Rise Shirai. However, it will not be Namba’s final time announcing for Tokyo Joshi Pro as the promotion announced that she will be flying into Texas for the upcoming shows in Houston and Dallas over the AEW All In weekend.
Another TJPW vs. AEW match is set to take place, this time at Summer Sun Princess. Miyu Yamashita’s return to Japan will see her go one-on-one with AEW’s Billie Starkz. This will be the fourth match against the two, but it will be the first time they collide in TJPW.

Mio Momono is officially returning to the ring. She announced at this past weekend’s Kariya show that she will return on the July 13th Marvelous show at Shinkiba 1st RING. It will be her first match since getting injured back on February 9th.
As noted earlier, Takumi Iroha will compete on Pro Wrestling NOAH’s WRESTLE MAGIC 2025, defending the GHC Women’s Championship against Marigold’s Victoria Yuzuki. This will be Iroha’s first defense since defeating Kouki Amarei for the championship.
